Ian Podmore Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 OK, I've managed to get a 'Scenic' Route from Curborough to the Westfield factory sorted out. Route is about 43 miles long, approx 1 hour 15 minutes. Route is approximately: Curborough Rugeley Over Cannock Chase to Penkridge West along A5 then down to Codsall Back out West on A454 for short while Then through Seisdon, Trysull, Wombourne to A449 Then down and into Westfield factory from the West Full instructions will be provided at Curborough on Saturday for the brave! I reckon the direct route will be about 1 hour? Quote

itguy Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Hi All New tent bought last night so will be camping with SWMBO. Can't wait as this will be the first time I'll have ever taken my westy on a track, very scared and nervous, don't want to break anything but want to enjoy myself!! Not doing the factory trip but planning to be at curborough for about 12ish on Sat. SWMBO going in the tintop with beer/camping stuff/food etc Will someone be on hand to give me an 'expert' passenger lap around the track first so I can see how its meant to be done? Quote
studbuckle Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 We'll be there late morning, probably in the tax mans friend, aka Kia Quote
adhawkins Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Will someone be on hand to give me an 'expert' passenger lap around the track first so I can see how its meant to be done? I'd hardly describe myself as an expert, but I'll take you round if you're around at an appropriate time. I'm sure plenty of others would offer too. Andy Quote
KerryS Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Or you could have a lap with me to see how it shouldn't be done Kerry Quote
