minisweeper
Hi guys, Thinking of investing in some timing gear (0-60/60-0/xx-xx/1/4mile etc) just for interest as i'm curious what sort of performance I'm getting out the car and wondered if anyone had any suggestions? Best I've seen so far in the UK is the AP22 but I'm not quite sure what to google for. It seems about the right sort of ballpark price wise and features seem good. Any alternatives out there? I dont mind spending a shade more if it's worth it and obviously if there are cheaper ones out which do the same job it's a bonus! Cheers
nikpro
Look here: Race technology AP-22 is pretty good (I owned one for a couple of years) as far as meters go but the AX-22 is much better. Unless you are planning on racing they are pretty much a waste of money as the DATA logging is the most usefull function for lap analysis, remember you can not use these on track days as any form of timing/performance measuring equipment is strictly prohibited. It is far more usefull to spend the money on a rolling road session to get performance from your car.
