Hope its not too much trouble to ask - I need to see if I fit in properly and that I genuinely will like them before I head off all over the country trying to find a good one.

Incidentally if anyone is selling a BEC let me know im a cash buyer.

Hope you guys can help me out

cheers

I was in the same position - worrying if I could get in or, more worryingly, out :D:D .  (have a bad back and plenty of excess lbs). Found lots of help from fellow members on the boardroom and will be buying an all new modular kit as soon as we sell the house.  Had a ride in Jeff Cooper's busa yesterday at Harewood (did a bit of marshalling) What a car :p:p:p . Even managed to wriggle in and out through the full cage without help :D:D  (I'm 58, 17++ stone and about 6ft)  If I can do it I'm sure you can too.

thanks you guys for the replies

hope i will fit in then, im not overly different its just im slightly wider than most of my mates - im 6ft and 15.5 stone so i think i should be ok.

phil if you get the westy sorted out by next week i would love to have a go out in it with you if thats ok - ill come across to bingley to have a go!! Its kind of you.

I like the spirit of the wscc it reminds me of the ford rsoc which is one of the best owners clubs in the country imho.

lloyd where about are you in west yorkshire?

I don't have a BEC car but I know a few who do, for fittment purposes I can't see it makes much difference whether BEC or CEC more the type of seat and pedals which are fitted.

I'm 6'1" and fit in mine (Sei) o.k. but if I was choosing again i'd get a wide bodied car.

Get yourself over to one of the meets they will be getting busier now 'summer' is here. Leeds 1st Tuesday and Holmfirth 3rd Tuesday.

ha my username won't give you a clue cos im not in Haworth!!

That's actually my surname.

Im in Brighouse basically junction 25 M62 but always in Leeds or Huddersfield.

Its kind of you all for the response!! If any one is free this week please let me know, if not then I will go to the meet a week today im guessing it is!!

Really just wanted a ride to make sure I fit but also to actually just go out in a westie as I have never been in one before!!! Been in most things such as Vanquishes, 911's, Ferrari's etc but can't help thinking a westie will be better  :p

Im still looking to buy one too if anyone knows of one!

Saw a westie today and have noticed it around cleckheaton a few times - a yellow one - he was giving it some stick  :D
