'C' spanner for shocks

I just bought a new 2 1/2 inch C-spanner from Cromwell Tools in Bedford for under 8 quid.  Try any major engineering supplier in your area, it's a standard piece of kit, just don't confuse them by saying it's for a shock absorber.
