Martin Keene Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 'er indoors has just bought an MP3 player, christ knows why, but there you go, and has started ripping masses of CD's to MP3's. But for some strange reason the album art, that is ripped off the CD as well as the music, is causing windows explorer to crash. I can go into all folders etc without a problem, but if I go into the music folder and open an album folder which contains the album art that is shown on the thumbnail, then it crashes... There is a small album art .jpg, a large album art .jpg and 2 more album art .jpg's, which have great long number codes as part of the file name, and according to the computer they are system files, but if I delete these system files all is well until they regenerate... Ideas anyone? Quote
Martin Keene Posted May 19, 2006 Author Posted May 19, 2006 Sorted. A bit of googling, well quite a lot actually, has revealed it to be a conflict between Explorer and Adobe Photoshop both trying to generate the Thumbnail previews. Turning the Photoshop preview off seems to have solved it. This has been a public service announcement. Quote
