The cap can't be reversed from its original position as its a side exit one, and its definitely pointing in the same direction as before (towards the rear) - I'll check if its on properly though.

I'm at the point now that it's running I might as well drive it to someone who can sort it properly - as I'm fed up with it :(

Any suggestions for a good Xflow tuner around Warrington?

Thanks

sorry bit of a copycat high jack. My crossflow seems to run fine (a little lumpy on tickover but its got a fast road cam and a moded aldon dizzy) but my dizzy is out by 90deg to the one in the pic earlier and the manual. I will reposition it correctly before refitting the engine but if it seems ok should I leave it alone.

1) But more so can anyone explain how its running.

2) Will it be causing less power???

Its been like this since i bought the car sept2004.

doesnt matter which way it points as long as it aims towards the no1 HT lead at TDC on the firing stroke for no1 :D

it might be twisted cos the owner put it in like that wrong.. but if it works why change it - unless you take the dizzy out and try to refind the position... then it's trickier if it is abnormal as yours is.
