Mole Hall Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Hi Chris Although the cars up for sale I would be pleased to catch up with you around the KL area if a few of you are this way....just want to be careful that there are no slippery toads around as one naturally aspirated CVH is enough for my car...I don't want a rear engined cvh turbo!!! Oh by the way I think there is a track day at Sculthorpe near Fakenham...where I think you can pay to do a few laps or a top speed run..... I will keep my eye on the posts... Quote

I just checked the web site and the date is still showing and also can do 10 laps for 20 squids!! I've not actually been on one of their days as one was cancelled and date clashes. ChrisF Posted April 14, 2006 Author Posted April 14, 2006 Okay details are as follows Prova Motorsport are running a track day at Sculthorpe, nr Kings Lynn on Sunday 16th April. You can book a full day session or arrive and drive 10 laps for £20. The venue is an ex US airbase, there will be two tracks set up one tight and twisty and one long and fast. The surface is *supposed* to be okay but a bit abrasive on tyres. Gates open at 8.30am, on track for 10am, they seem like a prity relaxed bunch and there are plenty of spaces so it just may be a quiet track I suggest anyone interested meets in the carpark of Tesco Kings Lynn (just off the Hardwick Roundabout jct A17/ A47 / A10) at 9am to blat over to the venue. the venue is off the A148 Kings Lynn to Fakenham Road, 4-5 miles before Fakenham take the B1454 signposted Hunstanton. The air field is the second set of gates, 200m on the right. Please post if you will be meeting me at Tescos....so I know who to expect on the day Quote

Mole Hall Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Chris If it looks just like you and me who can get our leave passes to have fun then for me would be good to meet at Knights Hill hotel rather than Tesco..at Hardwick(Tesco) roundabout go bypass towards Hunny, straight over next roundabout towards Hunny then turn left at next and Hotel on the left. We will then go straight down to Fakenham direction.
