Au revoir Telford... Quote
joff69 Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Have you checked out the train times?? I used to go from Wakefield to Sowerby Bridge ( M1 jcn 41 to M62 jcn 24 ) every day and back till I broke my leg and since then, even though my legs ok, Ive been going on the train. My Monthly Railcard works out cheaper that petrol and dont have to get stressed in traffic, just read my paper and let the world go by. Downside is that it does take a little bit longer due to connecting trains. Of course being public transport, there are occaisions when they run late, but you can quite easily get caught in traffic on the M1 anyway. Just an other option to consider! Dont forget there will be Car parking fees to pay in Leeds and as I understand it, city centre parking is not very cheap! Quote
