funbobby Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 The only two I know of are the Spotted Cow and the New Globe Inn, they latter is supposed to be the best one of the two. Brgds Funboozy Quote
amc_black Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 If you take a short down the A64 the Stone Trough at Kirkham is highly recommended with fantastic views and good ale/food. WELL worth the trip. Other wise the Cow in central Malton is always a good bet for some local activity. Go on a cattle market day for extra excitment! Quote
Terry Everall Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Stone Trough is a favourite of mine Shall I warn them you are coming Do you need your own "trough" reserving? Quote

davew Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I grew up there and parents still live there, nice place I can recommend the crown hotel / suddabys they brew their own beer. Lots of unmemorable nights out. Depends on the type of pub you like there are sit down old men type pubs and also lively bars and a couple of wine bars. Most people do the rounds at a weekend. There are something like 28 in Norton/Malton/Old Malton combined. Quote
