BRJ Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Hi, Can anyone recommend a company that sells an outdoor car cover for a Westfield? Ideally a fitted one if that's possible? Thanks Barry Quote
slippy Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 The factory do one about £180 of your finest though HERE this is the only one I can find on the site but in the catalogue they do a fitted one for around the same price not sure if it's 100% waterproof like Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 There's a nice detailed discussion in the Faq section on just this. Personally, I've used a Caterham 3 layer cover from Hamilton Classics, for about 18 months now and been very pleased with it. Quote
Darren B Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 I bought the 'small' cover from car builder solutions. It was about £40, is 3 layered and whilst not fitted per-say, it does have straps that conveniently go just inside the front and rear wheels. Quote
Darren B Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 It certainly seems to be. I had the car on the drive for about 4 days whilst I was painting my garage floor and it rained on 2 of those days, and it was dry underneath. Don't know how hard it rained but I would have no worries leaving the car out with it on. Quote
Darren B Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Got this from their broucher: NEW 3 LAYER POLYESTER OUTDOOR CAR COVER Non abrasive, fully water proof and breathable. Five security straps, four roof vents, elastic hems. Electrowelded seams. This excellent value cover will keep the car dry and protect your paintwork. Supplied with it’s own carry bag. Small (Up to 13 ft 4 ins) £44 (£51.70 inc vat) Car Builder Solutions Quote
Guest Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 The one from specialised car covers is pretty good, mates got one for his cobra rep, not the cheapest at £230 but a very well made 3 layer heat sealed cover with good sturdy straps Here Quote
