Buzz Billsberry Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Just wondered if anybody wants to post any pics showing where they are with their upgrades/builds/general tarting etc. This is mine as of 17.00 today Buzz Quote
thos Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 160 today ... Looks well, just a pity it has no brakes, wiring, induction/exhaust, and most of the seats/wings & stuff isnt mounted - just sitting in place. Quote
Boomy Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 No pics but mine has the following off of the car: Front wheels Nose cone Bonnet Steering rack Ball joints etc Roll bar Exhaust/silencer Jobs to do: Get steering rack etc fitted Sort out rear axle/diff leak (putting it off and off and off and..) Look for oil weep from sump area Fit new roll bar Adjust rear boot cover Adjust new shocks once car is back on the road + camber etc Remove covering from new cycle wings (not too hard : p ) Service the carbs no doubt Get windscreen surround painted Get bodywork painted (looking bitty and messy now) Powdercoat and fix side vents i cut the bodywork for Drain fuel tank when ready or at least chuck in an additive Get new silencer welded up to a new bit of pipe and fit somehow ..all i can think of at the moment. This is the last pic i took of my car however raised up on my death trap crushing device. Some other peeps were asking what it was like so i took that shot before pulling bits off the car. It is currently on the floor surrounded by tools and covered in a large blue cover. Actually, noobie Q alert but what do they need to remove from the car to paint it?. Is it a case of everything, you know, rear arch stone chip protectors, lights, seats etc etc etc?. Quote

Perywinkle Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 What have you done to my car Boomy? Quote
Boomy Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 What have you done to my car Boomy? Only what you should of done. All that keeping it clean and driving it about rubbish is for lightweights.Pah! It's far more interesting to start 25 jobs on it all at once for no real reason and with no real knowledge of what you are doing, thus keeping it off the road for months. Oh, found you a cobra btw when you are ready to purchase 780 ci, 12.9 litre, 1100HP 4 carb model. Quote
