adhawkins Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Looks like a great idea to me, unless you need to see what speed you're going, or indicate... Why would a Yank want RHD anyway? Andy Quote
bill shurvinton Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 All US postal vehicles are RHD as lazy postal workers won't get out the car to deliver the mail. I guess the little boxes they normally drive are no good on the rural routes so they use converted jeeps. In america using indicators is a sign of weakness and all overtaking is based on the element of surprise Quote

Mark B Posted February 13, 2006 Author Posted February 13, 2006 Apparently the postal workers consider it dangerous getting out of the car into the traffic, so they want rhd cars, think I'd rather take my chances with the traffic...... Anyone can buy a kit and fit it to their car legally, the same bloke has another jeep for sale with a fresh rhd "conversion" I could imagine seeing something like this done for a laugh on scrapheap challenge or something, but christ not on the public highway!
