Robandcolin Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 We didn't get there till about 2pm as me dad was a bit late getting back from London in the morning after having a few too many the night before. Good show though managed to get a few bits. I'm starting to put the car back together now so it should be finished in a month. Rob Quote
Martin Keene Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Ahh, we'd been in the bar for what seemed like about 2 hours by then... Err, unfortunately mine is still in bits. Lack of motivation during December. But I have a list of things being modified/made/supplied by a local engineering shop, which should see the worst of the work done. Then there will be little things left: 1) Carb Balance 2) Brake fluid change 3) Service & tappet check (car started sound a bit 'anrgy' at the end of last year) 4) Roll bar padding (really sound get some) 5) Bigger air filter (pose value...) Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Back in the days when xflows were current the 711m's were known as "thickwall" blocks, they were used in the later xflows and could be bored out more than the earlier "thinwall" block. Might not help you, but I just thought I'd say it anyway Quote
