Paul M Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 I may have the opportunity to tag onto a bulk buy of some of the above organised by a mates 'bike club, specs as below, Armour for your eyes. This patent pending system provides two functions in one: converting from a fashionable sunglass to low profile goggle. It's ballistic, anti-fog lenses can be changed in seconds when weather or activity dictates the need. Unique Ultra-Foam seals the eye orbits providing protection from extreme changes in body temperature or weather temperature. The temples disengage with a push of a button and can be replaced with the snap loaded elastic headband.(included) The SG-1 combines wind protective fashion with ballistic function. Fully compatible with NVGs, can be worn underneath your ballistic helmet, easiliy worn with flight helmets etc. Each comes with two shatterproof polycarbonate lenses complete with Wiley X propietary anti-fog and scratch resistant coatings for perfect optical clarity. Includes two sets of ballistic anti-fog lenses, temples, elastic strap and soft case As has already been said on this site, these are excellent as googles for aeroscreen users but no good as sunglasses- they are just too big and need to be worn with the elasticated strap to pull them close onto you head. Normal retail is anything betwen £60-100. I'm hoping to be able to get them for around £40ish in P&P to you. PM me if interested see link below, xsg1's Quote

McSpreader Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Does anyone know if there are any Wiley distributers in the Midlands (or South Midlands area) where you can try a few of the different pairs on - for size etc. Seems to be so much choice, which are the ones to get... Cheers Simon Quote
Paul M Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 BTT Price now confirmed @£39 INC Delivery. Recommended US Price is $99 so this is a big saving. Only approx 8-10 pairs available, will only be available with black tint & clear lenses. Had to go with one style to get such a discount. Quote
