Holy cow...

Last Summer, i drove my A4 2.5TDi Quat Sport up to Crail with 2 other blokes - one in an M3 Cab & the other in a Porsche 997 / 911 3.8S - Absolutely hammering it all the way....

We filled the cars up in Edinburgh..

The M3 & 911 done 3 drag races & then we left......

On the way back home, the 911 had to fill up again!!!

He averaged 6mpg!! - ouch...

In total, the 911 got 70 miles to a tank.

But if you look about  a 100 yards in front he can't catch the guy in the white Transit courier van.

If its true then wow but it looked like he was only doing a 100mph the street furniture was going past oh so slowly for 202 mph obviuosly the car is caable of doin that.

Just before Christmas I got undertaken by a German registered M6, was heading south down the (M6 coincidentally) and waiting behind a car that was refusing to budge in the outside lane, started to indicate to pull over and let the bimma past and the next thing I new, he was 100 yards ahead of me.  Never seen anything accelerate that hard from those sort of speeds.  Very impressive.

Must have been de restricted by some back street techie as normally limited to 155mph like all German stuff. Awesome car though. Up in 7th gear and still pulling hard!!

would've been interesting to see him overtake a car doing a more 'regular' speed to get an idea of just how fast that really is!
