Next you'll be saying you're the seventh son of a seventh son  :t-up:  :d  ;)

or did you happen to meet someone at the crossroads, no not Amy Turtle either  :p  :d  ;)

Posted

I'm tellin ya Stanton...

Amy Turtle belongs to me!

I love her more than you,

Now if you excuse me I have #### hounds at my heels!

How did you get on with Adrian Legg?

Posted

#### Fine splendid Mr Diggle - Adrian Legg sure knows how to pluck  ;)  :p

I always considered Amy to be my "Little Queen of Spades" or is it just "Love In Vain"  ;)  :d  Must be off now for my "Malted Milk" after that "I Believe I'll dust my Broom"  :d  :)  :t-up:  :d

Amy gives me the 'Kindhearted Woman Blues' but then she does have 'Hot tomales and they're red hot', yes, 'she got them for sale'

'If I had possession over judgement day' I'd be a 'Steady Rollin Man'

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some 'Stones in my Passway' that I must clear out of the way before morning.

P.S. I hope no-one thinks we talk a load of old Phalanx Mark.

Hasn't Amy already got a Hoochie Coochie Man ?

Posted

Maybe  ;)  But I heard she dumped him and he went back to "sweet home chicago" a typical case of "honeymoon blues" so she shouted over to "come on in my kitchen"    :d  but is was all "love in vain" "when you got a good friend"  :t-up:  which stopped me "preaching blues"

I thank you.  ;)  :p  :d  and there's more

You are 'Rambling on my mind' Mark. Broke my record player today, gave me the 'Phonograph Blues'  :t-up:

'I'm a steady rollin' man' - that should be my theme song.

Bit down myself - bad lunch - a case of the "dead shrimp blues" never felt that way since the last time I had aircraft food gave me a dose of those "terraplane blues" and the time zone really threw me was it "32-20 blues" "from four till late" :t-up:  That was the "last fair deal gone down" next time I think I'll try "travelling riverside blues"    :d  ;)

:d  :p  ;)

I'll let you have "MilkCowsCalf Blues" and "Me and the Devil Blues" - I think we lost WROx on a while back

Just occured to me that the new Britney Spears film, Crossroads has the same name as that featured the story of Robert Johnson made in the late 80's

Surely Britney's not a secret Blues fan !!

Posted

Haha,

30-20 blues Mr. Stanton!

When my Westy was bust it gave me the 'Walking Blues'.

Right, that's it, if only we knew the name of that 30th song (or was that just hollywood bolox?)

Posted

:d  :)  :d  Next........... ;)

and nope I don't do Britney songs .......... I do have standards ........ low ones granted ...... :p  :d  :d

never should the musical name of Robert Johnson be mentioned in the same sentence as Ms Spears .... please ..... sacre bleu and blew me sack.

I reckon it was a combination of legendary myth and Hollywood  :t-up:  - He must have done more songs  ;)  and probably something was lost  :(  30-20  :d I thought it was  32-20, must check my sleeve notes ......... goes to fetch anorak.

Sorry Mark, Can't continue this I've got to go to an 'S-Club Party' ;)

'Reach for the Sky' my friend.

  :t-up:  ;)
