JonnyBoy Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 My sis has been trying to get me a case for my ipod nano from IpodWorld and after ordering, it appears that all the stock of these cases has been redirected to apple for their stores. Anyways, initially she was informed that the stock would be in mid dec. and couldn't be guaranteed before Xmas. My sisters CC was billed for the item but it has not been shipped. She emailed them to ask what date it would arrive as she was shocked to see her CC had been billed. Now they say that the stock wont be in till Jan and that they informed all their customers that CC's are billed at time of ordering. Is this legal? I was under the assumption that payment could not be taken untill good had been shipped. Any experience with this at all anyone? TIA Quote
Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Many mail-order companies do this and it pi**es me off too. The better ones do not take the money until they are about to despatch the goods and those are the ones I deal with if I have a choice. Quote
chrisbin Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Jonny, if its the "socks" then try MicroAnvika - I managed to get some there. Sorry, can't help with the other.... Quote
