markcoopers Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 CLICKY Anybody know where the exit to this country is? Martin, you should pay attention to the briefing, but have no fear, the emergency lighting will illumiate the closes exit for you. So I guess it's at the end of the M1? Quote
a4gom Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 sounds right, I did an evening course on first aid, it was very informative, mouth to mouth cardiac massage, injections, inhalers etc on the 8th week they told us what ever you do never do any of this on anyone else? you may get sued Quote
JonnyBoy Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 its a mad world when you are more protected for being an ass and walking away from the scene of an accident than you are when you try and help. Every activity in North America now requires a disclaimer/ liability waiver.. i'm sure we will see this in with emergency services too. I.e you have to first of all sign away your rights to sue before you get treated. Quote
karlgurney Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 In Germany, you could get sued for not helping out and if you do help out and get it wrong you could get sued Quote
steppenwolf Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I think it is every person's right to take their own life if they want to. Perhaps by way of compensation if it all goes wrong, instead of money being handed out, how about useful things for the home - perhaps a new gas cooker, some cushions ..... I am sure you can see where this is leading ..... Quote
Mark Stanton Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 no doubt somone will want it explaining Quote
