adamnreeves Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I have not done any GRP fabrication. I am familiar with the basics but can anyone recommend a good approach to fabricating, say a dashboard. What is the best material to make a mold bearing in mind that I am wanting to make a contoured dashboard. Quote
pistonbroke Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 For a beginner and a one off mould I would use hardboard or mfd . use wax polish as a release agent , give it a good few coats and a nice shine . You can use modeling clay for contours , corner fillets etc. Quote
