Crash Override Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 There are only 2 sizes in that helmet, is it ok to mail order these? I have seen posts saying you must try them on, make sure they fit. I'd definitely recommend getting along to somewhere like Demon Tweeks or Grand Prix Racewear to try on a range of helmets. You don't need to pay much (I got a helmet from Merlin Motorsport that would have been fine for the Speed Series for less than 100 quid), but making sure it fits properly is important. Andy Definetly go and try a wide variety on... I found that a few helmets I liked the style of when I tried them on they did not fit properly and were uncomfortable....I found Demon Tweeks far more helpful than Grand Prix Racewear and took the time out to make sure the helmet fitted me properly. I'm not sure as to whether my Westfield will be ready in time as a few upgrades are going on, but after attending the past 2 years running if there's any chance I'll be there. Malc. Quote

donkeydave Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Just for fun I'm bringing all my cornerweight and geo stuff. If anyone wants to know their cornerweights/camber and toe I'll have the floor set up all day and I'll point you in any directions if you wish. I can whizz people on and off pretty quick and give you a read out, but there won't be any time to make any adjustments however at least you will know where the set up is. Like I said its for fun, free, the more the merrier. Bear in mind I'm in Group D for driving, so anyone interested in group D I'll do over the lunch break. Mallory is the only circuit in England and Wales that I haven't driven - I'm getting pretty excited Quote
scott beeland Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Are there any places left? Don't need to go to court now (I WON ) Quote
