I was aiming to do a last minute show, even if you could only fit me in for a beer

Ok boys I drove the route last night to check for any last minute roadworks  

From Oldham on the A62 Bypass (the dual carriageway) signposted Huddersfield.

at Mumps bridge roundabout

(you'll know its mumps its got 'SETONS' painted on the bridge)

set your trip to zero and follow A62 Huddersfield,

at 1.8 miles, uphill on a left hand bend, just after 2 white cottages on your left, turn left

(its dead easy to miss this, if you reach 'MALLONS' you've gone past it)

Steep uphill curving left to give way, bear left.

At 2.2 miles just after the de-restriction sign turn left onto Brighton road.

at 2.8 miles the Pub is on your left (its only the second building on your left on Brighton Rd)

Thats 2.8 miles total from Mumps bridge roundabout

The meal is booked for 8.00pm so be there early for a natter, see you there

Errrm yeah ok it turns out my route to the Roebuck did turn out to be a bit of a mystery tour.  Got there eventually though
