scott beeland Posted November 26, 2005 Author Posted November 26, 2005 The last offering I'll make on this one is....everyone's entitled to their opinion....but there is no queue jumping in the Organ Donor process.....FACT......It's way more complicated than that Quote
deano.1 Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 I think we all have a self destruct button which is controlled by various things that happen in life and once your in self destruct mode its a complete lifestyle change to get out of it, asssuming that you want to! The booze and women are the highs on an emotional roller coaster that is almost impossible to control! For people that manage to reverse it i have the utmost respect, for others i think it is sad! It always makes me sad when i think of people who have self destructed over the years and the talent that they had, Karen carpenter, Andy Gibb etc etc Rest In Peace George Best, no matter what peoples opinions are i doubt you'll be forgotten! CJR Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 George Best; simply class! When today's overpaid prima donnas (spelling?) score a goal, they run around the pitch like headless chickens thinking they're God's gift. George would score a goal of sublime brilliance and just raise his arm in dignified acknowledgement of the fact he was God's gift! That's all we need to remember about the man. Quote
