Kev Bamber Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 What's the best solution for in-car video on the track? Seen some using helmet cam's on the roll bar coupled to camcorder in the car, others where the camcorder is fastened directly to the roll-bar. Kev Quote
DickieB Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Kev, Bullet cam on roll cage with camera in passenger footwell and microphone somewhere in the footwell as well, out of the wind - if you can afford all this! If not, then camera straight onto rollcage (Demon Tweeks do a very good mount, but it is about £100). I did the latter (Locost solution! See you Saturday! Rich Brown Quote
adhawkins Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 I use a Nisis DV6. Solid state camera, mine cost less than 100 quid. Add a 512 Meg SD card and a proper motorsport mount (another 100 quid maybe) and Robert's your parent's male sibling. Andy Quote
scott beeland Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Going to use camcorder attached to RAC bar for next yr until money available for bullet cam set up Quote
