Britain's cottage kit car industry generates more than £50 million a year, sells more than 4,500 vehicles and has no fewer than 220 different manufacturers! Showcasing the very best of the UK kit car industry, over 600 hand built cars will be lining up at the 2005 Great Western Kit & Car Builder Show at Westpoint, Exeter on Saturday and Sunday November 19th and 20th, 10 am - 5 pm each day. Following last year's all time record - breaking show, the Great Western Kit & Car Builder Show is now the biggest Kit Car show in the whole of the UK, attracting over 10,000 visitors. Organised by John Cooke of European Promotions, one of the most successful kit car show organisers in the UK, the two-day kit & car Builder spectacular has attracted record exhibitors. Britain has more kit car manufacturers than the rest of the world put together and over 60 of these will be taking part in this year's Great Western Kit & Car Builder Show. Also on hand at Westpoint Arena will be 50 trade stands, 20 kit car clubs and over 400 privately owned cars, making the show a dynamic, vibrant and buzzing event. There are many South West manufacturers taking part this year including, Marlin Cars from Crediton with their stunning 5EXi, MDA from Exeter and their striking GT40 replica, Quantum Sports Cars of Kingsbridge and JAS Speedkits of Holsworthy, RJH Panels and Sportscars from South Brent. There are three Somerset manufacturers including Taunton based Nostalgia Cars UK with their fabulous high quality Jaguar, newcomers, Darts Cars also from Taunton and off roader, Westholme Aviation Ltd of Wellington. Attending the show from Dorset are RPM Sports Cars from Poole and Chesil Speedsters of Bridport. Flying the flag for Gloucestershire is Land Ranger 4x4 from Newent. Other top manufacturers taking part include, AK Sports Cars, Aeon Sports Cars Ltd, AGM Sports Cars, Beauford Cars, Hawk Cars, Pilgrim Cars UK, Fisher Sportscars, Tiger Racing, Robin Hood Sports Cars Ltd, Luego Sports Cars, GTM Cars, Shawspeed, Cradley Motor Works, Veranti Motor Company, Venom Sports, MK Sportscars, Mac#1 Sports, Westfield and other manufacturers, many of whom will be bringing memorable favourites and some breathtaking new models to the show! To add to the many motoring attractions, there will be some breathtaking entertainment from professional stunt rider Jason Finn, one of the stars of MPH'05, London's live Motoring Theatre starring Jeremy Clarkson who will be thrilling the crowds with his spectacular wheelies and astounding motorcycle stunts.
