is the  6230i a fuel injected version of my phone? :p

I have probs with this 6230 dropping calls and  am forever getting missed call texts hence looking to change, also can flatten battery in less than a day  :(   :(  :(

I always go for the Nokia option, they always seem really robust and are fairly idiot proof and work in a logical manner  :xmas:

Surely you'd 'kin believe 'kinell (just remember I aven't logged out again  :bangshead: )

I did similar upgrade last month, from nokia 6230 to Samsung D600. I had been with nokia for few years.

A bad move for me. I found working the Nokia 6230 pretty intuitive and the Samsung rather awkward in comparison. My reason for changing was effectively to get something different for a change. I actually still use the Nokia .. and passed the Samsung on to g/f who has always had Samsung phones and even she found some of the D600 functions a bit awkward compared to her previous phones, mainly relating to the number of key strokes needed to send / reply to text messages I think. On the other hand.. maybe its a case of old dogs and new tricks

6230i - I believe is an improvement on 6230 - my 6230 keeps dropping sim registration and I need to "re-boot" - couple of guys in office have 6230i and their's seem more "stable"

Although I've always had excellent reception etc everywhere except when at my office  :bangshead:  :bangshead:  :D

I used to work for Vodafone and saw many a Samsung phone come back in for repairs and software issues, but never many Nokias, so therefore I would definately go the Nokia route.

I've always used nokia - until last year when for a change I got a motorola.

I'll be going back to nokia - the mrola is a pain in the  :arse:

I've had no probs with my Nokia 6230, had Nokias for about 10 years without any real issues. Had one Ericson (speeling?) and hated it. The Nokia menu systems just seem so easy to follow... :)

Ive had Nokia now since 1996, except for last year i had a Sony K700i, which was an excellent phone.

I have gone back to Nokia though for this year to get TomTom on my mobile. Contemplating getting a PDA syle phone now though.

Nokia for me too. Had my hands on plenty of others 'cos the office is full of mobile phone saddo's. I'll be having my third 6310i soon, 'cos it does everything I need it to, which is make phone calls, receive phone calls, and send the odd text...
