Anyone have my old Westie?

I had this car around 13-14 years ago. Red, with swept wings - Ford 1760 crossflow etc.

Does anyone own this car now, or know who does?

Just interested really - having just bought my 2nd, it made me think about   this one......

Q659YAW is still around somewhere - just checked on the DVLA site, and it's still taxed, so someone's taking care of it.....

Couldn't believe my eyes when I leafed through this month's Westfield World - there on Page 5 was an article about Suzy Dignan competing in the MG Car Club Speed Championship. And, she's pictured sitting in my old Westy!!

Nice to see the old girl again (the Westie, that is)  :p

And looking almost the same as I remember 12 years or more ago.....

[Oct 2005] "Has anyone seen my car?"

[Aug 2006] "Oh, look. There it is?"

Like you didn't know ???

You've, obviously, planned this thread well in advance. :D

And now for my next question - anyone know what the Lotto numbers will be next Saturday?  :p  :D

I'd be interested to know whether the Westie still had the same bits as it did when I owned it - it was pretty well sorted back then, as the guy I bought it from was using it in a hillclimb championship (and doing quite well, I seem to remember).
