V 8 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Dudley was done all properly by the vet and everything Is he from the black country or Brum then? (Sorry, cross threading if you'll pardon the pun ) Quote
Mrs Westy Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 No it means "from the meadow" which seemed appropriate for a bunny When he arrived he was called Freddie, but he didn't look like a Freddie so I changed it Anyway, apparently the human snip isn't all that bad as long as you don't have ankle biters of a headbutt you in the groin age/size. Renmure Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Only hurts when the doc brings the 2 bricks together. I think everything after that bit hurts less. Quote
Howard Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I could tell you now, but there's still plenty of time for wind-ups Quote

peterg Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Only hurts if you don't bother with the anaesthetic yep, that's what I found out when the 'local' the surgeon injected me with didn't numb the right area and he started cutting It took a week before I could stand up straight without pain and this was after I paid to go private it was over 20 years ago though sveral people I know have had it and didn't have any problem Quote
Jed Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Don't get it done on the NHS - they don't appear to use anaesthetic judging by friends reactions. I went private, drove to BUPA, 1 hour later I drove home and all OK. Hardly felt a thing - just a little dangler and that was it. Quote
