VeeEight Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Nige What are you like!!!!!! Legless in Belgium. Sounds like a good film title. You had better stick to putting diesel in your tank or leaving your filler cap in France. Hurts less!!!! Not much sympathy hey. Get better soon. Phil Quote

Mark Stanton Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Yipeeeeee - at last someone who can spell Donington Quote
dm1 Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 As a proper noun I'm sure it should have been spelt with a capital "D". Pedantic aside, Chris, I'm going on Saturday. Call round on your way. Cheers, Dave. Quote
nlash Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 NigeWhat are you like!!!!!! Legless in Belgium. Sounds like a good film title. You had better stick to putting diesel in your tank or leaving your filler cap in France. Hurts less!!!! Not much sympathy hey. Get better soon. Phil Thanks Phil! You know how to make a guy feel better! Update so far, had the op, cartilage and ligament repaired by key hole surgery. I'm not very mobile so I won't be at Donington this year, although I will try and make the meeting next Thursday with a lift from SWMBO. Just to add, can the members going along please spread the word that we will be meeting at the Saracens Head one last time next week. Many have rightly pointed out that since its transformation to a gastro pub, the venue doesn't lend itself to club meetings anymore. I need therefore, some suggestions next week for a new meeting place and also preferences for the Christmas dinner venue, as this needs to be booked asap. I hope you all have a good time at Donny and the weather is ok for you all to go along in your Westfields. I have SORNed mine for the moment as the knee trouble means that it won't be getting much use. I will probably keep it off the road until spring and get the works done that I have been promising for over a year, namely cracks in the tub and new roll bar etc etc. Have a good time this weekend, those that are going and I hope to see you all next Thursday all being well, for beer and sympathy! All the best Nigel Quote
