Blatman Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 HSBC ticks all the boxes for me. Internet convenience with a branch in most high streets if you ever feel the need to complain loudly and at length in front of a load of strangers. No probs cheque books, debit or credit cards, nor with DD's, SO's or geting cash from the hole in the wall. No complaints from me since I opened the account over 7 years ago... Quote
langy Posted September 30, 2005 Author Posted September 30, 2005 I thinks it'll be a return to HSBC or try First Direct, just have to see who does the best deal in transfering 101 direct debits ! Sean Quote
Neil Purdie Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Im with Halifax and Bank of Scotland. Only problem was they failed to return a phone call, my fault though because of phone number change Changing to Hx is easy as signing a couple of forms to allow them to change direct debits. They gave me an interest free overdraft whilst debits and pay was sorted out. ( yes I did abuse the overdraft facility. Put it all in one of their savings accounts which they kindly opened for me - rude not to ) Quote
