stu999 Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 This Sunday just gone saw the annual pilgrimage of the Vintage Sports Car Club to Loton Park. A fantastic day out, and highly recommended, even if you dont think old cars 'do much for you' There is such a huge variety of cars on show, and in all sorts of conditions. What is amazing is the turn of speed and the times that some of these cars are capable of. A lot of the 'serious' competitors were turning in times that would shame some of the modern machinery. Fancy a go in this baby? Keeping the weight off isn't a new thing... Check out the camber on the front wheels... Possibly my favourite car there. Proper brute... Makes Barry Ashcrofts engine look like a starter motor Bonnet exit exhaust, for the err, bonnet exit engine! Says it all really... RAC rollbar? WAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAA!!!!! Jeez! You will be wanting seat belts next... Quote
