Just got back meself after a short 5 week break  :D  :D  :D

One of the cheapest deals I found this year was via Travelbag - if you can book up well in advance there's some decent offers.

From previous trips

Singapore airlines are good

Emirates are o.k.

Royal Brunei are o.k

Malayasian Airways are o.k

Qantas can be iffy

BA are sh1te (IMHO)

Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai are all worth a stop-over for a few days - no extra flight cost and it breaks the journey, particularly on way home.

Royal Grand Plaza in Sing and Shangri La in Dubai are well located and decent hotels  :D  :D

Funnily enuff, the travelbag system's not too bad once you get used to its operation...

Larndon - Singapore (stopover) - Sydney (no stopover) - Auckland (stopover) - Toronto (stopover) - Larndon = about 1050 of yer English ££s

Can't quite get it to do what I want yet but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than I thought given the Aus only prices.

Aussie internal flights can be much cheaper if booked when in Aus - Virgin Blue have some good internal one way deals  ;)  ;)  :D

Singapore is well worth a look at (IMHO)  ;)  :D  :D

Used STA travel in 2003 when I went to Aus/Nz. Went into their office in Leeds and spent a couple of hours sorting flights/itinery out, very helpful, nothing too much trouble....don't have to be a student either  :)

Travelocity and I think Opodo both allow you to search multiple flights.
