Mark Stanton Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Just got back meself after a short 5 week break One of the cheapest deals I found this year was via Travelbag - if you can book up well in advance there's some decent offers. From previous trips Singapore airlines are good Emirates are o.k. Royal Brunei are o.k Malayasian Airways are o.k Qantas can be iffy BA are sh1te (IMHO) Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai are all worth a stop-over for a few days - no extra flight cost and it breaks the journey, particularly on way home. Royal Grand Plaza in Sing and Shangri La in Dubai are well located and decent hotels Quote
Stuart Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Airline Network. Used them lots of times no probs. Quote
Mark Stanton Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 I would concur used thm for hotel bookings ......................couldn't quite match last oz flight deal though Quote

Do round world single or multiple stop-over flights I've used em a few times and always spoke to a real person even gone into one of their shops on one occasion *gasp* Quote
Rick S Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Can anybody point me in the right direction? South would be good Funnily enuff, the travelbag system's not too bad once you get used to its operation... Larndon - Singapore (stopover) - Sydney (no stopover) - Auckland (stopover) - Toronto (stopover) - Larndon = about 1050 of yer English ££s Can't quite get it to do what I want yet but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than I thought given the Aus only prices. Mark Stanton Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Aussie internal flights can be much cheaper if booked when in Aus - Virgin Blue have some good internal one way deals Singapore is well worth a look at (IMHO) Quote
westfield7se Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Used STA travel in 2003 when I went to Aus/Nz. Went into their office in Leeds and spent a couple of hours sorting flights/itinery out, very helpful, nothing too much trouble....don't have to be a student either Quote
Stuart Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Travelocity and I think Opodo both allow you to search multiple flights. Quote
wildwesty Posted September 28, 2005 Author Posted September 28, 2005 thanks all, i will have a look at your suggestions today. Quote
