pincher
email has arrived ; Ian, I understand Westfield owners (probably 10) from South Lincolnshire and North Cambridgeshire would like to come along and look at the track with a view to some low key competition. I understand you've already down loaded membership forms from the website, which will cost each person competing 10 pounds for RAFMSA membership (valid until 31 Dec 06). The event participation fee is normally 30 pounds in advance however, its 37.50 PER DRIVER on the day. Please note, this is a NON SPECTATOR VENUE, so only the driver and his / her 'mechanics' are allowed onto Barkston Heath. Crash gate 3 will be open between 09.00 and 10.00; please ensure your party understand this, we have to operate a 'lock-in' policy for various security reasons, etc. Each driver must be in possession of an MSA or FIA approved helmet and one piece overalls (not necessarily race type) that are clean and oil free which both do up correctly and cover the arms and legs. The format of the day is: Venue opens 09.00 - 10.00 (simultaneous scrutineering and sound checks 110dbA - 45 degrees at 1/2 metre). Drivers briefing Convoy runs 2 Practice runs (FTD set class 1 - 2.99 seconds later for class 2, etc). LUNCH (mobile caterers are available) 2 Timed runs Free practice for up to 1 hour (weather and time dependant). Please note, this is NOT AN MSA COMPETITION, this is purely a closed to club activity for members of the RAFMSA. Appropriate insurance is in place for members of the RAFMSA, hence everyone has to be a member of such and sign-on accordingly to come under its protection, etc. We do have a very comprehensive safety plan, which includes an NHS Paramedic, MSA licensed Race Rescue Ambulance, MSA licensed Stage Safety Unit and MSA licensed Recovery unit. As requested: <> <> Kind Regards Chris Gwilliam ESG, Comms Team (GATM) Block K RAF Wyton Huntingdon Cambs PE28 2EA
