Yep it was Leon :(

From what I saw the front corner is a bit mangled but hopefully no chassis / tub damage, just wishbones / rack /cycle wings etc

Car was looking good harv, love the paint work :)

Yep it was me who ended up in the tyres, geometry wasn't quite right on the car from the 1st lap out, I'll upload the vid when I get a chance.  Light damage really as it was slow impact, 2 wishbones and a cycle wing, good excuse for wide track i'd say ;)

I was behind you when it all happened :( you might want to check the rear Rose joints / suspension for play. It looked to me as the car was steered round by the back end. It happened at the section where the inside oval becomes the banked section, there is a small surface change at that point.

In fact one of my rose joints suddenly developed play and I could feel it all of a sudden at the hairpin at the end of the banked section, the rear of the car suddenly wanted to take the lead ! and so had to stop play after lunch.

Bad luck, but good to see you're OK and cheerful :)

Hmm kinda.  Im used to these things happening to me, worst luck in the world!

On the look out for a bare block for winter upgrades, where did you get yours from Mark?

Found an advert on:

Racecar.com

I'll keep my eyes open. Plenty of engines going for reasonable money at the moment.

Thanks Carl, dont spose you got it on camera did you?  Felt to me like the car was crabbing, geometry had been changed recently and all nuts/bolts tightened just a week ago.  I'll be putting the car on 4 wheel laser alignment when its back together.

leon i followed you towards the hairpin in the infield and you had a rather major near end swapping moment in session 2 , i just assumed you were a driving muppet :p  but now thinking about it the car seemed to crab to the left .

I get my rod ends from autosport bearings , about 40 quid a rosejoint for the westy sized ones but if they are good enough for the maclaren's they are ok for me.
