Peter Cox Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 FIAT were considering Nigel Mansell for their early Satnav male voice during the 90's. He spent hours in the studio recording his voice in different European languages. Unfortunately when the product was trialled with focus groups throughout the EEC, uncannily, most groups reported similar negative feedback. No matter how many hours spent in the studio by Nigel or the engineers, it seems that there was no language for which his voice could be de-whinged. FIAT instantly shelved the project, thereby saving themselves global ridicule and unavoidable bankruptcy (again). Quote
Martin Keene Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Not as expensive as you may think! All fine and dandy, but it's still a Tipo... Quote

Blatman Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 The Ferrari looks like it's parked next to lobster pots. Hmmm, a 70's Ferrari that's lived near the sea? Perhaps not... It is my favourite Fezza though Quote
Blatman Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Love the photo of the Rover too. Left not only the reg number visible, but the address of where it is is visible for all to see Quote
blankczechbook Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 prefer to buy the mondeo mansell stuffed into the underbridge barriers after being tapped by Tiff... just for a piece of motoring history. Which the Tipo isn't Quote
