does anyone have call of duty for the pc?

I have installed the game but it wont transfer over certain files which I nee to play.

Can any one send me file pak0.pk3 over msn?

uhuh, I have got 1meg broadband. so shouldnt take that long.please help!

csconfigure orsomething is missing

Did it work before or is this the first time you have tried to install it?

its worked before, and now wont. ive uninstalled and installed lots of times and it says "csconfigure not found"

So you put the cd in, run it (as in try to install the game) and that message pops up straight away and it doesn't install anything?

I am trying to figure out the chain of events that relate to the

pak0.pk3 problem you mentioned you see.

you put in cd

install

then, put in cd "play"

error message

the pak0 files hasnt installed properly

It seems from hunting about that it could be down to a dirty disc, or a fussy cd/dvd reader/writer.

Some people are suggesting you need to access the cd/dvd and copy over the pak files manually.

Others are suggesting you need to patch the gameand then fiddle about.

Looks like it is one of those things that has caused problems for a lot of people, but one sollution will not always work for someone else.

I even read som guy suggest that service pack 2 was to blame!

To quote one guy:

"...put your CoD CD in your computer and search for pak0.pk3 file. Copy it and put it in Main (Default : C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\Main) over your pak0.pk3 file"

Or to the dir you installed to if not the default one.
