Snapped MAP sensor tube

Recommended Posts

Checking my car tonight... No leaks.  Engine running very smoothly.  Sorted out my clutch cable length, so it now goes into gear :D:D  Drove the car very warily up the road and back (No bonnet and no nose-cone :0 )  Everything seemed fine but, I started to hear air escaping from the MAP sensor.  I went to tighten up the Jubilee clip and snapped the little portruding tube on the MAP sensor off!

I've been told they are not the most robust things in the world but, I'll be damned if I'm going to pay £70 quid for a new one until I try some fixes.

Any ideas inyone?

Thanks.

Neil
