Mark B Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 To try to keep a record of the "known" westfields presumably, don't worry the details won't be passed onto anyone. Otherwise how would we know how many se's, seiw's, becs etc there are about? Get it filled in and send it off! p.s. welcome to club membership Quote
Mrs Westy Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 There are some people in the club who don't own Westfields, so I'm sure you won't be turned away if you don't want to give them those details! Quote
blankczechbook Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 how come then - the last guy who asked how many westies are got the p*** taken so badly '' if the club does keep some records it would be nice if there was somewhere to see the latest figures of how many westies we're up to so far doesn't need to be the chassis figures shown - but numbers issued by factory vs numbers registered might be interesting to see - how many other makes would be able to boast so many devoted fans ?? Chris Elworthy Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Most owners clubs not only keep records of members current and previous vehicles, not just to track their proliferation but as a valuable resource to people who make enquiries through the DVLA or the Police for example when a whole yard of stolen goods are recovered. The DVLA use owners clubs to verify that old cars that have been restored and want to use their original reg No are what they say they are. Quote
pistonbroke Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 The DVLA use owners clubs to verify that old cars that have been restored and want to use their original reg No are what they say they are. What about old drivers that have been restored ? do they keep tabs on there dental records etc. might come in handy if any found dead sitting in the wessy in traffik jam somewhere Quote
