Charlie - Yorksboys. Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Had a look at them for ages at Stoneleigh, - bl**** beautiful thing. Agree with Scott re blatting but would be a fantastic touring car. Quote
Martin Keene Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Superb looking bit of kit I reckon, fantastic engine too, although *very* expensive to repair if it al goe pear shaped... But there will be that many around in breakers yards in un-loved Rover 800's it probably not worth worring about. Just had a thought, something tells me the Honda 2.7 is the another Honda motor that rotates the correct way, I'll be back... Edited to add: Yep, it sure does... Sits on the left hand side of the engine bay, when looking from the front, all the cack handed Honda lumps sit on the othr side. Who's want to try it in a Westfield... Quote
Blatman Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Phantom make pretty good racing cars that are similar to Mallocks, so I would hope that the driving dynamics are pretty well sorted. I like them Oh yeah, when I spoke to them a couple of years ago at Stoneleigh, they said that it wouldn't be too difficult to fit a Ford V6 in there in place of the Rover... Quote
