Major Stare Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 Or does anyone know where I could get one? Westfield? Whats up with your loom, is it "crap" or just needs a tidy up?

leighc Posted August 23, 2005 Author Posted August 23, 2005 Or does anyone know where I could get one? Westfield? Whats up with your loom, is it "crap" or just needs a tidy up? Its all over the place. No standard colours used i.e red to black to green. Bits of it are wrapped in loads of tape and then lots of it are tie wrapped straight onto the chassis so its shorting out all over the place. Rather just spend the money and get a really good reliable one than spend the rest of my days chasing short circuits...
leighc Posted August 23, 2005 Author Posted August 23, 2005 Without wanting to sound like a complete numptie, what are the new westfield looms like? are the adapted from escort looms with wires blanked off or are they really decent? As i've been quoted much less than PKM but don't want to end up with another loom that is exactly the same as the one thats on it!!
Martin Keene Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Current Westfield looms are purpose made for the car and IMO are very good, unless your chasing tenths of a second there is not much point in paying the extra for a light weight PKM one.
