darren.cudd Posted August 19, 2005 Author Posted August 19, 2005 so, anymore opinions? good or bad, just want as much feed back as possible Quote
Mark B Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Not my cup of tea tbh, I prefer the standard lights myself.... Any luck selling the car Darren? Shame you're selling it tho. Quote
smegablade Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Darren, think they look pretty Do the lights include fog and reverse? are they SVA compliant? and have you thought of providing a service to customers own arches? or maybe on an exchange basis? and finally how much wonga are we likely to be looking at? Ian Quote
darren.cudd Posted August 19, 2005 Author Posted August 19, 2005 yes they will include fog and reverse lamps. just doing pricing and prototypes now but will be somewhere in the region of £500 for the grp wide arch versions, prices for carbon to follow. allow that the westfield ones are £170 per arch then £160 for a set of pod lights. Blatman Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 You obviously aren't studying marketing at uni Quote
darren.cudd Posted August 19, 2005 Author Posted August 19, 2005 You obviously aren't studying marketing at uni whys that then blatters? Quote
James Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 I think they look really but the price is out of my bracket Quote
Blatman Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 You obviously aren't studying marketing at uni whys that then blatters? 'Cos you can obviously get them cheaper than the factory sell them for by buying somewhere else. Well hey, so can I, and so can anyone else I would have thought, unless your dad owns the company that makes the lights... So there is no point in asking us (well, me, and anyone else with a bit of nous) to compare what the factory may charge, 'cos it's irrelevant. What we need to know is how much you think you can save us. People will immediately begin trawling the net to see if they can get them cheaper anyway, so you need to be aware of that and be getting a good price from the supplier so that you can make some money/break even by playing with the margins... Then of course, Messrs Smith may want a word about whether you are producing knock off wings. You wouldn't be the first to receive a letter inviting you to discuss such matters... Quote

Buzz Billsberry Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 so, anymore opinions? good or bad, just want as much feed back as possible Darren if u think they look great and u want to fit them then sod what everbody thinks fit 'em its your car. The beauty of these cars are they are mostly indiviual and the personal touch is what makes a westy. Regards the lights they look like the ones that SVC sell for very little money, plus why would you need wide arches I have a set of wide arches but the light mounting area is the same as the standard wing. Its the arche itself that is around 2" wider.Fitting them would be pretty straight forward. Buzz By the way they look cool!! Quote
Bafty Crastard Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 Now your gunner like this Westi lights fitted to a C......m http://www.r300.net/index.p....ideshow Quote
