Buzz Billsberry Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 I don't know if I've mentioned it before but I'm going to the USA in Sept with me westy I will be trailering the car down from Leeds next tuesday &planning to arrive in Barking at the container base around 9.00am for a 10 am loading. I intend coming down the A1 from Leeds. I've bin told to avoid the M25 at that time of the morning so can u let me have some suggestions for the a good alternative route please Many thanks Buzz Quote
steve_m Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 The shools are still off so it shouldn't be too bad. I use the A1-A13 quite a lot and it is busy but is usually flowing. So where are you going ? Quote
Blatman Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Er, go back to where we discussed this before. A1 > A14 > A/M11 to A406, head south and Barking will be sign posted, as is the A13 which runs across the A406. Even you could find it Buzz Quote
Blatman Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I know. I just couldn't be arsed to search for the link... Quote

Blatman Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Still better than M1 south, M25 east in the rush hour... Quote
studbuckle Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 he wont be hitting A14 at rush hour if he's aiming for Barking at 9am with a trailer though. As for me, i'll be coming up through the blackwall tunnel and hanging a right Quote
