KerryS Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 Try K Drewe Insurance at Bewdley, 0845 4085929. Been with them for years and years. CC are dear. I assume it's a tourer basically, most Hobby caravans are, but you are siting it as a static? This will undoubtedly put extra requirements on the insurance but the site's security may be good enough to overcome some of the hurdles that relate to theft. As a true tourer, we have to have, I think, two approved security devices and the fact that it's stored at home helps. Like most things related to insurance, the companies bleat about how unprofitable it is for them but there is good competition for your business. This seems they speak with forked tongue! Know nothing about satelite tv, being in the van is a chance to get away from it and actually talk to people. Enjoy Kerry S Quote

Frau Vesty Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 p.s. i am after a portable/tripod satelite dish does anyone know where i can get one (its for the kids so i can put cartoon network on the tv early mornings so me and mrs mud can get a lie in ) cheers We got all our stuff from here. All arrived quickly and was cheapest I found on the net for most stuff. No need for a tripod, just acquire a large brick, something heavy for ballast, butcher the stuff that comes with the dish and you too can create a superb low-budget satellite tripod like this: Alternatively, look here for lots of good satellite information for caravanners and here for specific caravanning satellite products.
