adhawkins Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Who are Mr. and Mr. Hussey trying to kid by being in the novice group for the Ty Croes track day? Watch out when lapping traffic guys, and I hope you don't get stuck behind the 300 BHP Mustang Andy Quote
adhawkins Posted August 16, 2005 Author Posted August 16, 2005 Just like a computer techy...slopey shoulders syndrome Andy Quote
davidgh Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Well, as Guy clearly thinks the buck stops with me (not the first time in his life he has suggested that ), here goes... One or more of the following reasons -- at your choice Andy: We genuinely aren't very experienced at trackdays.... The WSCC regards us as novices (for the remainder of the year), and that I just assumed BookaTrack would think the same....... "Novice" is the default option on the booking page of the website and I suffered from premature e-clickulation, or was too lazy to move the mouse...... We were too terrified to go out on track with either the Throbber or the Nana-van...... At the time of booking, there were hardly any takers for "novice", and we thought we might get the track to ourselves..... We'll try not to get in the way of the Mustang Quote
GuyH Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 No, I wanted to remind you David that we disagreed about this at the time, and still do. Still, that's a domestic and not for the boardroom. Good point Andy! Quote
davidgh Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I wanted to remind you David Where have I heard that sort of thing before? Quote
welsh wizard Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 We were too terrified to go out on track with the Throbber Why? Andy's going to be driving it It'll probably break or summat Luned Quote
Numptie Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Andy, You need to change your profile. It's not purple, it's lilac like I keep telling you. Quote
welsh wizard Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 You need to change your profile. It's not purple, it's lilac like I keep telling you. Hm... "The Lilac Throbber" doens't quite have the same ring to it, does it? We'll have to think of a new name. Luned Quote
adhawkins Posted August 16, 2005 Author Posted August 16, 2005 You need to change your profile. It's not purple, it's lilac like I keep telling you. Put it next to yours, and it'd be so obviously not lilac... Andy Quote
adhawkins Posted August 16, 2005 Author Posted August 16, 2005 We were too terrified to go out on track with either the Throbber or the Nana-van...... Nothing to be scared off, I'm very good at pulling over when I'm being lapped Andy Quote
adhawkins Posted August 16, 2005 Author Posted August 16, 2005 It'll probably break or summat Thank you for that vote of confidence dear. Andy Quote
GuyH Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I wanted to remind you David Where have I heard that sort of thing before? Ooops, you're right! I've accidentally changed sides. What ever you say team principal..... Quote
davidgh Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I assume we can change class on the day -- "novice" is filling up a bit now Quote
