O/T GTM Spyder

Hi

Having taken the decision to sell the westy & replace it with something a little more practical.

I am thinking of either a 2003 vxturbo or building a GTM Spyder has anybody had any experience of the spyder build quality how do they handle etc.

I am trying to get time to visit the factory but getting away from work is not easy at the moment.

I would not want to use the K series engine so would be looking at the audi 1.8 which the factory are starting to put into some of the cars.

Any opinions would be appreciated.     :D

His name's Ian, but his e-mail address is ken.something?

Does he have an identity crisis? ???

drop v7slr a pm/email. He's just sold the Cateringvan as v7slr Jnr came along so he's looking to get a spyder in a short while so they can continue touring with Jnr along.

From what i've seen they're a lovely looking car

David,

You could consider becoming a member of Team GTM. Team GTM is one of the two owners clubs. The other club is GTM OC. Team GTM has a forum like the forum of the WSSC. Obviously it is not as good as this forum, but it gets close :p:p  The Team GTM forum is not accessible for non-members, sorry for that....

The Audi engine is obviously a very good choice :D:D  I would be a bit cautious to buy one of the first kits of a new type, GTM recently launched a few very poorly designed upgrades which even caused a recall recently.

I would BTW be surprised if the Audi engine fits the Spyder. I use the V6 body which has a bigger engine bay to get it all in. The V6 body is not available for the Spyder. :(???:0
