CarlH
I'm looking at fitting poly bushes - don't you need to adapt the attachment points (to persuade them to fit) ?
Mark Stanton
Mine went straight in no probs
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
And don't forget to coat them with lots of copperslip or similar, before you fit them.
Blatman
What car are they from. An MG or a Triumph... you can buy the metallastic bushes from Rimmer Bros if the factory are out of stock...

Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Starting to think from posts in the past that you can't over do the Copperslip bit on the bushes and bolt shanks that pass throught them. I "underdid" the front end a bit, and after getting caught out in the rain, it can creak a little.
Pembroke Pat
How much do poly bushes cost?
Chasmon
Am I right in guessing that if I need to change my bushes at some point (metalastic) I am going to have a BU66ER of a time to get them off? They required several tonnes to push them in... Apart from the difficulty in changing them whats the problem with them?
Mike-SEiW
They can be a right PITA to get out. You'll need a hydraulic press for sure, and some machined adapters or sockets that just fit inside the wishbone holes to press them out. I don't understand either what the problem with the metalastic bushes is, TBH. Unless you're wearing the outside edge of the tyres and don't want to dial in more camber, what other drawbacks are there?
VX2L16V
They're heavy & they smell bad & I've got a bag of 16 of 'em, looks like a dodgy chinese chicken curry
