Transport Needed Friday / Saturday

Can you help?

I have the 2 club flags & poles (which collapse down to a metre approx - we have carried them in a Westy no problem at all).

Ideally they ought to be in Harrogate for the club area for Saturday AM. (Harrogate Kit Car Show)

I am not coming up to Harrogate until Sunday, and Neil W is not travelling up until later on on Saturday he tells me.

Is there anyone in the Midlands / East Midlands area travelling there on Saturday to whom I can deliver the flags during this week.

Cheers in advance

Chris,

I will be going up on Saturday, but will have a passenger. Don't mind taking it providing it fits in OK.

John.

I'm in my tintop driving down the M1 Wed morning from Leeds to Crawley, then back to Formby up the M6 on Thursday if that helps? Live 15 miles from Harrogate so happy to drop it off.

cheers,

Sorry to post this folks

But having just spoken to the Harrogate Show organisers: They're not keen on the WSCC folks turning up, having a drink, BBQ and enjoying themselves        Seems they received complaints last year  :(

No tin-tops allowed on stand

Well bottom line is - it's your show and there seems to be 2 options to me

1. Don't get too rowdy and play loud music till late night / early morning and be invited back for future years.

or

2. It's party time, upset the neighbours get booted out and not be invited back for future years, go out with a bang.

This post isn't a joke       See Mark (Cast Iron), Simon Brum or Stu Pickles when you arrive - they can give you the full sp  :(

I'm not sure if I want to drive up from norfolk (with my slippers) for a cup a tea and an early night.  Then again I can appreciate our neighbours concerns...well after mid-night anyway.  Maybe it's just not worth turning up if we can't have some   socialising.  I want to have fun but I don't want to blacken the WSCC name  ???

That was well and truly achieved at stoneleigh
