chazpowerslide Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 As Andy said this would make an ideal car for somebody to enter the world of Westfields. Taking the easy option to upgraditis then Andy? Chaz.
Andrew Mills Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 Sorry Chaz but yes I am afraid so. I don't feel that my level of skill would allow me to do what I want and as the car is in such good nick I don't want to spoil it. Sorry to be such a wimp !! Andrew
Robandcolin Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 Andrew you wimp. How are you buy the way? Rob
Andrew Mills Posted August 5, 2005 Author Posted August 5, 2005 Chaz Yes it would be nice to see a Zetec in there but to be honest it is a step to far at the moment so I thought I would cheat and let someone else enjoy my pride and joy. Rob I am well, working hard and never have the time to get out for a blat. For one reason or another I have missed the last two Cambs meets and missed out on some good times from what I can gather. How are things with you, I see you still have your Westy. Andrew
Andrew Mills Posted August 6, 2005 Author Posted August 6, 2005 THE CAR IS NOW SOLD Craig please look after my baby. Andrew
SparkyB Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Blimey that was quick Andrew 3 days... must be a new record. So have you started searching for the 'replacement' yet? Mark B
Martin Keene Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Chuffing Hell... Almost makes you wonder if you weren't asking enough!
Andrew Mills Posted August 6, 2005 Author Posted August 6, 2005 I have never been so popular and almost ended up with a bidding war on my drive and had to put two others off. I think they must have known about the high quality workmanship Chaz has done on it to be honest. I must admitt there was a tear in my eye as I watched it disappear down the road. Now the hunt is on for a replacement ! However does this mean I am now excluded from the Cambs area meets !! I will be happy to be a support vehicle or mobile locker for safe keeping of everyone's stuff when we get to where ever we are going. Andrew
ChrisF Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Andrew What have I missed I hope Tanya has agreed a tidy sum for the new one...remeber Vx is best
Andrew Mills Posted August 7, 2005 Author Posted August 7, 2005 OK lets open up the debate. What should I go for next Vx or Zetec or even busa Any thoughts ? Andrew
chazpowerslide Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 As you are a biker dude I'd say a compromise would be in order. Go for a Toyota 4AGE, all (well most) of the revs of a BEC and the torque and useability of a CEC. We know how you like to rev..................... Chaz.
