SADDLEWORTH Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 What is this country coming to anthony walker died due to the colour of his skin and i believe having a white girlfriend, this poor lad did nothing wrong in my eyes to have done what them b******ds did to him Quote
Gromit Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Another sorry example of the lack of respect that some people have for anyone. The poor lad did nothing wrong and even walked away from these b******ds and yet, for nothing more than being a different colour than the rest of us he lost his life. Going to open up a can of worms now but the scumbags that did this should be hung, publicly. There no deterents left anymore, they`ye claim they were provoked and/or they come from a broken home or some other b*ll**** excuse, then some limp wristed judge will let them of with a pitiful sentence. It really does make me question my belief in humanity when cr*p like this happens. Quote
moomin Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 being a different colour than the rest of us I'm fairly sure he's not the only black person in the country ( ), but I agree, it's fast becoming a pretty sucky world we live in now or at least that's what the modern media tell us (put what value you will on that I guess). moom. Martin Keene Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 What all this? Haven't seen the news for a couple of days... Will search now. Edited to add: BBC News Yes, with it now. It makes you wonder whether it is right to bring children into this world. Quote
Mark Stanton Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Yes, with it now. It makes you wonder whether it is right to bring children into this world. Perhaps more of how you bring them up in this world right from wrong, respect and good manners Quote
Martin Keene Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 True, but that doesn't stop them getting caught up in somebody else's hate/anger/mis-guided beliefs. Quote
Chris Elworthy Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Apparently Moira Stuart the BBC Newsreader still gets hate-mail Quote
Frau Vesty Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 It's not even the only random murder this week, is it? Another bloke was stabbed to death on a bus for asking someone else to stop throwing chips at his girlfriend. Quote
Blatman Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 And he was white. The assailant was black, I think. But it isn't being called a racially motivated attack. I want to know why? [/controversial thinking] Quote
Peter Cox Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Not sure the guy on the bus suffered a torrent of racial abuse. Other than that nothing to say except that death is such a waste. Quote
markg Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 there was also a young white lad tortured and set on fire by some asian lads in glasgow just last year! racism works both ways ( more controversial thinking ) one of the few things that the merkins do right is to try and instill in all american citizens that they are american first and foremost! this multicultural bulls*** that our pc culture has adopted is counter productive and responsible for certain areas being predominantly white/asian/afro caribbean! markg Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Not sure the guy on the bus suffered a torrent of racial abuse. Other than that nothing to say except that death is such a waste. would you put up with racial abuse more readily than some lads throwing chips at the wife? if a few black lads were taking the p*** i would ignore them, chavs throwing chips at the mrs would really bring me to the brink of nuclear warfare! Frau Vesty Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 this multicultural bulls*** that our pc culture has adopted is counter productive I seem to recall that the big cheese of the CRE agrees. Didn't he say last year that he thinks that too much funding is given to specific minority groups who are aiming at self-support rather than integration into British society, and that this is being counterproductive. I think he was pushing for a change in policy as to where the funding goes, don't know what came of it though. Quote
