Marty Posted July 27, 2005 Share Posted July 27, 2005 Did the first Merryfield Sprint on Saturday. Airfield near Ilton, Somerset. 3.1 miles of great straights and some twisty bits (lost it there). I do not think there is another one this year but judging by the response on the day there is sure to be another next year. Not many Westfields but the Evos were hitting over 140mph on the 1km final straight. I ran out of gears with a four speed geared for hillls but still great.
