Paul Ash Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Thought I'd show you my new exhaust. Build is coming along nicely, so wont be long before were back on the road. Its been like having a leg chopped off, not having a car all summer Quote

Lurksalot Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 nice exhaust and I'm sure your luggage racks are superb But I'd have another try at the car trailers Quote

Lurksalot Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Its great. 1 ton motorised hoist in roof. Strap / lift / rest on trolley. does that not reduce your headroom besides it can't do your o-60 times much good Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Very nice work the only thing I would say is watch the clearance on the exhaust as my Vx car has a bonnet ex. exhaust and there is enough movement for it to touch the bonnet and I have more clearance than you. Quote
Martin Keene Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Chuffing hell Paul... Your not hanging around are you! Quote

Had similar thoughts but didn't want to be the first to mention it, is engine Hard mounted? Quote
Paul Ash Posted July 26, 2005 Author Posted July 26, 2005 No engine not hard mounted, however the FG under the pipes is opened up to give lots of clearance. I think its a case of see how it goes, I can always open them up further, or completely remove the piece under the pipes. Better than taking to much out and then wanting to add it back in later The engine is on some HDuty mounts and didnt move that much in the old car. Quote
