Thought I'd show you my new exhaust.

Build is coming along nicely, so wont be long before were back on the road.

Its been like having a leg chopped off, not having a car all summer :bangshead:

Its great. 1 ton motorised hoist in roof. Strap / lift / rest on trolley.

besides it can't do your o-60 times much good

Very nice work the only thing I would say is watch the clearance on the exhaust as my Vx car has a bonnet ex. exhaust and there is enough movement for it to touch the bonnet and I have more clearance than you. :(

Had similar thoughts but didn't want to be the first to mention it, is engine Hard mounted?

No engine not hard mounted, however the FG under the pipes is opened up to give lots of clearance.

I think its a case of see how it goes, I can always open them up further, or completely remove the piece under the pipes.

Better than taking to much out and then wanting to add it back in later  :bangshead:

The engine is on some HDuty mounts and didnt move that much in the old car.

For definate, its a luurverly job and fingers crossed.

I have to say nothing looks more ugly than a big hole with something little stuck in the middle.  :oops:
